Since it happened so late in the day and they hoped no one would find out. How is it that Obamacare is OK to force on everyone but not for those that the President decides WHO gets a wavier?
But back to what this is all about. Congress and the Senate can't afford Obama Care?
"Currently, members of Congress, their staff, the President, Vice President, and their political appointees all receive generous health care benefits through the Federal Employees Health Benefits Plan (FEHBP). Under Obamacare, members of Congress and their staffs were expected to fully enroll in the health care exchanges, a central component of Obama's health care law. Under the exemption, they will be able to keep FEHBP benefits previously eliminated under Obamacare"
Oh My they may have to pay more. Well welcome to the club WE DO ! ! !
"The push to make the controversial change picked up steam last week after Democrats and congressional staffers expressed concerns about the expected cost of their new health care plans under Obamacare. The New York Times reported July 29 that a plan for a single individual would have ranged from $5,000 to $11,000 a year."
Oh but it is OK for US to pay the higher costs. Has not President Obama and all the other Drones that follow him been saying costs will go down? If you like you Insurance you can keep your Insurance? If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor?
Here he will tell you.
And i know you remember this one.
When 1 Wavier was given. When 1 Exception was given. It should have be Scrapped.
The Washington Times said it best.
"Our nation was founded on the Declaration of Independence. Freedom of choice and a free market are at the core of our nation’s soul. A governmental mandate for the behavior of individuals and private enterprises is anathema to what our founders intended. The prospect of having an unelected panel of bureaucrats determining fundamental decisions about our individual health care is perhaps the most personal and intimate intrusion into our lives. The concept of this absurd and dangerous law surely ranks with the grievances laid down 236 years ago.
